Support of international civic initiatives of Ukrainian and international non-governmental organizations to enhance people-to-people contacts and to deepen understanding internationally of the Ukrainian processes happening in the society.
Thanks to the grants program, three international initiatives have completed their work successfully in 2009:

• Research of developments in Ukrainian communities in Moldova, and clarification of their role in resolving the Transdniestrian issue (project of the Group for Strategic and Security Studies).
• Participation of Ukraine in a comparative survey of 45 countries under the International Social Survey Program (ISSP 2008/2009).
• International Camp of Tolerance for 40 young leaders from Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan and EU countries (project of the Centre of Civic Initiatives «Svitoch»).
